PWR00 In Failure, Why Not Choose Again?

《Princess Wars》 is an evil story. It tells the story of evil women. Evil women who want to (s)end the world off in a funerary blaze. This is a story about evil women who fought the world and all its doubts, insults and criticism until the heavens opened for them.
This is not a pleasant story. Unlike House Delaroux's works until now which were founded upon the principle of "Laugh, it's fun!", this story was written on my, the Dramaturg of House Delaroux's, philosophy: 【大喜大悲】.【大喜大悲】means "Big Comedy, Big Tragedy". This story is primarily a tragedy. A very hot-blooded tragedy. As such, I will not shy away from heavy themes; some people will die. [A] The main characters will walk the path of evil to its full and logical course. [B] There will still be laughs in this story, but they will also be far, far more muted in favor of making (You) feel.
Don't worry, you don't need to read my previous works to find it interesting. There will be almost no references in this work. This work is also a challenge to myself to try and make something that doesn't depend on memes or reading the same stuff I like. However, for this one time only, I shall share with you the things I like, so you get a sense of my influences!
I like evil women. Therefore, I will not shy away from depicting truly evil acts. Both on the Vespana side, and the Controllist side. War is often like that, to quote from my favorite movie, 'I understand now, the masses will side with whoever wins!' [C] It is tragic that is so, but it will not stop me from documenting the reality and struggle of futile war. There will be slavery, cruel methods, and general mistreatment of women.
The Founders were all evil women, after all.
If this unsettles you, I humbly clasp my hands and ask that you read a safer book. Cultivation is not your genre. There are far more egregious acts I have planned, and I will do it without any outward seggs or smut. My apologies, the fanfiction writes itself though!
If you are still reading, let me tell you about what else I like! I am a big fan of 《Reverend Insanity》 and its depiction of Fang Yuan's unrelenting path of evil. Not once has he turned his back on this road, and persevered all the way to the end. It is with this spirit that I hope to animate the Founders of Vespana. Unlike Fang Yuan who encompasses a myriad-layered coat of evil, my evil women are much simpler characters; they embody a 'grudge' and a 'concept' against the world and its illnesses at large.
Simple doesn't mean boring. My respects to Gu Zhen Ren for thinking otherwise though! 'Simple' means that they can be performed on stage and 'understood' by a theatre audience at large. For example, Satella Starlight is the embodiment of 'anger'. She, and the youths of this world (the to-be New Continent) are angry that the world and its future has been stolen from them by wicked men who have grown old. Her methods of 'War Unto Death' will put her and her [Enragés Cavalry] on a path that tramples over the wicked and innocent alike.
For those who have no country left, let the fiery hooves of Bolivarian anger rage in your heart!
One character, one grudge, one concept.
Simple. Easy. It will also give me less stress when writing the Founders.
At the same time, I am also a big fan of 《I Am Not The God Of Theatre》 by Sanjiu Yinyu. It tells the story of Chen Ling (Director Chen is very handsome!) who dons red theatre robes and fights against a post-apocalyptic world filled with despair, and always come out on top. Ling is not a villain, but can easily be seen as such! The world opposes him at every turn, but he always finds some 'trick' to get around things.
The writing in 《I Am Not The God Of Theatre》 and 《Reverend Insanity》fundamentally oppose each other. One is philosophical and narrow in audience, the other is filled with gratuitous wish-fulfillment, and appeals to a wide audience.
It is my philosophy that if a reader does not want to read the next chapter, the story has failed! It has failed (You) as a reader because it is no longer interesting! Therefore, there WILL be great theatrical moments, mostly performed by Vespana's own child, Morganna Fayde. She will run circles around the Controllist forces, often with absurd disadvantages, sometime to seemingly great illogic, but please be assured that Morganna's thinking is very Uminekoean in that there is always a reasoning or hidden lever behind it.
【计中有计】, 'stratagems within stratagems', is one of her favorite moves; she has definitely read Romance of the Three Kingdoms before, so if you like the 'poisonous strategists' of that time period, you will definitely like the setting and her willingness to cast everything to the wind just for a gamble at winning! For those who like the antics of Guo Jia, Sima Yi, and Jia Xu of three kingdoms, Morganna's nature is in no way inferior to any of the great 'poisonous strategists'! As for her motivation...

And finally, we come to our very own Valerie Villetia. It is not a secret that I favor my homeland's First Princess of Vespana. At this early point of the story she is more a prop and far less interesting than the other two founders here. You might wonder: Why is this odd duck of a kind-hearted, empty-minded blondie in the story? Two reasons: One is that you get to see Villetia's 'change' as it began in the early days of the Flight to Bylon, rather than how she is depicted in many of my homeland's stories which begin at the Siege of Shirohime. I will write Villetia with a light touch and let (You), the theatre-goer decide if she is the great villainess in Arcadia's stories, or simply has 'hatred in her bones' like in some Restorationist stories.
I don't think the bringer of the great Magickal Revolution was that great. I highly regard the historians of the last five hundred years of Vespana history, but I disagree with them.
She too, was once a simple girl who saw the world with a simple lens.
She simply understood faster than anyone that war is a slow, long affair; and decided to 'cultivate revolution'. There is a lot of slice-of-life in this story. Villetia will fumble a lot and make a lot mistakes as she always does, and you get the vague feeling she is rather incompetent for someone who will murder half a continent of Controllists.
The vagueness is intentional, and not a result of bad writing.
Perhaps the trick here is the same as 'Xshi nx kx's' main theme.
I refuse to elaborate.

And finally, we come to me and my writing style. I would like to write short, self-contained chapters at 800-1200 words if possible. My goal is to let readers get into the world of Vespana in the Olden Era without much baggage, so each story can be read as a singular 'lesson' by itself.
There is long-term booking of course, but the main plot will go at a much slower pace.
When the main event of an arc happens, I will mark it bright and bold in the title for you.
Much like the world of Olden Vespana, I would hope like to hope against hope for this story to go long, as long as 200 chapters, but the light in the darkness is so very, very faint. If I am to make it to the future, I would like you to give me and Villetia support by telling her 'Villetia is an asshole!' and calling her names every so often in the comments!
It would please this dramaturg greatly to know his actors have aroused such strong emotion!
