Domo, domo, Author-kun des. Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote another progress report. Since the Special Operation in Ukraine started, I've had my VPN sell out to the WEF, Pooh going SHUT IT DOWN on my blog, and I bet HAARP is behind the recent crop failures...!
Anyway...
I'm back, so here's a /Conspiracy/ Girls progress report!
This Week On /Conspiracy/ Girls...
This week, the second artpiece for Ayano came in, and I am really impressed by it. The change in art is also a nice breath of air; it's really different from how I originally envisioned the story to go from its demo days. Maybe that's a longer story for another time. Glad that the artist caught the "cute and funny" aspect of Ayano, so that's always great to see.
The long awaited production of episode 4 out of a total of 6 is in the works. As of writing, I am 30% done. Not great, because I scheduled 2 weeks per episode, but we have been playing catch up for some time now. Episode 4 is one of the more technically difficult episodes, because I need to write in the story changes, and a fight scene is involved Thankfully, I found another sound effects website where there are loads of weapon sounds, so I'll have to borrow heavily from that.
My plan in the next week is to try and finish EP4 to keep on schedule, then swing around and do Morganna's sprite with my artist who is freed up around this time. We VILL release the book in autumn...! We VILL hire literally Alex Jones to do our advertising, and you VILL be happy with it!
Writing a very special Shadowcourt scene this week, I started laughing again, which is a good sign amidst crop failures around these parts.

Don't actually subscribe to this, I literally created a meme AUSTIN 3:16 tier just so that I could blogpost. Now that (((they))) shut down my access to Patreon, blogposting is unreliable, but I'll still blogpost because I'm a writer (goddamnit)!

Release Date Doko? Other Stuff Doko?
I'm going for a meme release date with a meme price. It has to be symbolic, that's how (((they))) would do things. So 9/11, 10/5, 10/31 are all dates that are possible. The price will be a little over $10, but I really want to go for the 17.76 price just for the Alex Jones memes. Realistically, it will be lower than 17.76 USD, but goddamn isn't that a spicy meme.
In-between writing, I think I'll continue playing Master Duel. Maybe I'll get back into recording a podcast and do some slight Master Duel commentary. More likely I'll write stuff about it first, then go back to writing my book, but you never know! Also I need to test out whether youtube works to prepare for the actual /Conspiracy/ Girls release.
It'll also put me on a fixed schedule, so the normal release will be something like this:
Week before MD Event: Pre-preparation for X Event
Where I try to anticipate the things to look out for for whatever event is happening in Master Duel.
Week after MD Event: X Event Postmortem
Where I analyze the recently completed event.
Start of Month: State of Master Duel/ State of Writing
Either I start off a month by planning out my writing or what I want to do in Master Duel this month. This is mostly for me to sort out my own thoughts.
I'll probably also record my experience writing a visual novel, from the vision design, to design characters, to the actual writing process in the dead air time. Sometimes I'll just randomly talk about children's card games from a design perspective too.
Last Word
I put a lot of work into /Conspiracy/ Girls and I am really proud of it, even though there is still a lot of work to be done! It's close, I can feel it...! Release soon!
